For Christmas 2019 and 2020, we worked with McDonald’s Singapore to come up with an engaging way to gift users with festive deals.

Keeping it within the existing McDonald’s app, we had some restraints when it came to conceptualising the game. As the app primarily housed the rewards redemption platform and McDelivery, our challenge was to come up with a mechanic that was light enough and simple to adopt, yet addictive that it got people logging back in every day.

We came up with a russian roulette mechanic, where users get 1 chance every day to pick a gift. You may win a free Hot Fudge Sundae or maybe Santa happened to be running dry on gifts. It’s all up to your festive luck.
